Role Overview

The Capital Markets Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the end-to-end trade lifecycle and client onboarding processes across multiple asset classes (FX, Options, Rates, Credit, Money Markets, Derivatives, Repo, and Treasury). The role ensures accurate trade capture, confirmation, reconciliation, regulatory reporting, and client enablement while mitigating operational and settlement risks. The analyst will collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Risk, Audit, Technology, and External Counterparties to deliver seamless post-trade and client lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Confirmations

- Draft, validate, match, and affirm trade confirmations across FX, Money Markets, and Derivatives.
- Proactively manage outstanding confirmations, mismatches, and breaks.
- Ensure compliance with SLA and regulatory timelines.

Middle Office Functions

- Trade capture, booking, amendments, novations, and lifecycle event management.
- CTM processing and post-trade matching.
- Reconciliation and control oversight to mitigate operational risks.

Client Onboarding

- Manage account opening, query remediation, and lifecycle management of client accounts.
- Partner with Front Office and Technology to drive operational readiness and transformation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Ops Risk Framework.
- Conduct training to close knowledge gaps across hubs.

Regulatory Reporting

- Perform trade reconciliation and monitor exceptions across regimes (CFTC, SEC, ESMA, FCA,



MiFID, SFTR, HKMA, ASIC, MAS).
- Investigate anomalies, escalate issues, and remediate exceptions.
- Prepare management information reports and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in audits and group-wide projects.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Build solid relationships with Front Office, Middle Office, Client Relationship Managers, Custodians, and Regulators.
- Deliver management reporting on match rates, issuance performance, and ageing controls.
- Represent Operations in external/internal audits and regulatory reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management and capital markets products.
- Experience in trade capture, booking, confirmations, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of CTM, post-trade matching, and client onboarding processes.
- Familiarity with global regulatory regimes and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and trade processing platforms.
- Excellent communication and ability to work across regions and time zones.
- University Degree / MBA or equivalent qualification.
