2. JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager with strong customer-handling skills, proven team leadership capability, and the ability to drive operational excellence, sales, and customer satisfaction for our Sanchu Animal Hospital unit at Chennai. The Unit Manager will oversee all day-to-day activities at the unit, manage a team of 30+ members, ensure process adherence, and work closely with doctors, pet groomers and support staff to deliver a superior client experience.

Customer Handling

- Ensure all customers receive valuable service and quick support.
- Handle complaints and resolve issues.
- Improve customer satisfaction and maintain service quality.

Team Management

- Lead and manage a team of around 30 staff members.
- Make duty rosters and ensure proper staffing.
- Conduct daily meetings and maintain discipline.

Sales & Profitability

- Drive sales in consultation, surgery, grooming, and boarding for pets.
- Achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Work with the team to improve footfall and repeat customers.

Inventory & COGs Control

- Monitor stock for medicines, consumables,



grooming items, and food. Ensure 100% Inventory adherance
- Reduce wastage and manage expiry
- Keep COGs under control and maintain proper stock records.

Process & Audit Compliance

- Ensure all unit operations follow Sanchu Animal Hospitals policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and equipment standards.
- Support audits and close audit points.

Billing & Administration

- Ensure billing accuracy and daily cash reconciliation.
- Monitor credit bills, refunds, void bills, and approvals.
- Control operational expenses.
