The CFO is responsible for driving the financial strategy, ensuring robust financial controls, optimizing cost structures, and supporting profitable growth in a capital-intensive, margin-sensitive manufacturing setting. The role partners closely with the Managing Director and operations leadership to balance growth, efficiency, and risk

Role KRAs

- Lead overall financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning

- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance

- Drive cost control, margin improvement, and working capital optimization (inventory, receivables, payables)

- Support pricing decisions, capex planning, and ROI analysis for plants, tooling, and automation

- Manage treasury, cash flow, banking relationships, and debt/equity structures

- Ensure strong internal controls, governance, and risk management

- Partner with operations on productivity, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives

- Support growth initiatives: new product lines, OEM relationships, exports, JVs, or M&A;

- Lead and develop the finance team; build scalable financial processes and systems (ERP/MIS)

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience leading finance in a multi-unit manufacturing organisation

- Experience in auto components industry is preferred, not essential

- Knowledge of OEM pricing dynamics and supply chain economics is advantageous

- Strong stakeholder management (banks, auditors, board, OEM customers / stock exchanges / investor & analyst relations)





- Hands-on, detail-oriented, yet strategically minded

- Client prefers to induct a professional who can join in max 6 weeks time from date of offer letter
