The Security Operations Specialist will be required to perform job for one or more of the following / all functions listed below:
Job Description:
1. Assist the client in support of special events and executive protection.
2. Perform executive protection assignments as required.
3. Maintain a high level security posture while on duty.
4. Provide secure and secure transportation to Executives and EP team members.
5. Conduct advances and prepare written security surveys.
6. Serve as liaison with internal and external customers, office staff, and the public.
7. Interacting with and, when necessary directing the work of QRT (Quick Response Team) contract
guards and lead operations as and when directed.
8. Responding to emergencies according to defined policies and procedures.
9. Completing detailed incident reports.
10. Interacting with employees, visitors, contract staff, vendors etc.
11. Facilitate safety and security inspections.
12. Thoroughly document situations and actions taken to maintain/restore safety and security.
13. Respond to on-going situations to prevent or minimize risk to people and property.
14. Gathering, intelligence and information relating to crisis/ emergencies within the city, the activities likely to affect the Banks businesses
15. Liaison with external bodies including the emergency services and attendance on external security forums where appropriate
16. Build relationships with key senior contacts inside the group to maximize effectiveness of the role
17. Assist in leading the delivery of expert services and specialist advice on Physical Security
18. Develop operational plans for incidents, in particular public disorder that is likely to affect the Banks business operations.

Become the immediate point of contact on any emergencies against the Bank in their area, working with other internal agencies if necessary
20. Liaise with law enforcement agencies within the area and facilitate/plan/co-ordinate/assist in any incident/investigation or response to crime
21. Undertake post-incident investigations and assess whether the Group standards, performance criteria and procedures are sufficient to meet the real threat
22. Maintain knowledge of all relevant industry security standards as well as maintain a positive awareness of relevant codes of practice and guidelines
23. Open to other duties and tasks as assigned and be able to work overtime if required for contingency operations.
Position Requirements:
1. Preferably be an Ex-serviceman and have a minimum of 4 years experience in a corporate
security function with an emphasis on Physical Security.
2. Emergency preparedness training and knowledge of local, state and national laws associated
with the security field preferred.
3. Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, attention to detail and
strong customer service skills
4. Has an exemplary attitude. Is self-motivated, flexible and adapts well to change
5. Ability to make decisions and operate effectively under pressure and very little direct
supervision.
6. Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
7. Ability to maintain a professional, pleasant demeanour in stressful situations
8. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced diverse work environment
9. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
