As a key member of the Revenue Cycle Management team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward by transforming patient care and improving patient outcomes.

Job Title: Medical Coder - RCM

Location: Hyderabad, India

Business Unit: Revenue Cycle Management

Role Summary:

The Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately reviewing and assigning appropriate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services performed by healthcare providers. This role requires strong expertise in coding systems such as ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS, ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines.

The coder will support revenue cycle operations by ensuring clean claim submissions, minimizing denials, and maintaining coding accuracy.

This position requires hands-on experience in US Healthcare Provider-side coding and adherence to quality, compliance, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

- Review patient medical records, including physician notes, lab reports, and operative reports
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM codes based on documentation
- Ensure coding compliance with CMS guidelines, payer requirements, and coding standards
- Validate medical necessity and ensure proper linkage between diagnosis and procedures
- Identify documentation gaps and coordinate with providers for clarification (query process)
- Work on specialties such as DME, Fracture, Orthic and Prosthetics speciality & Injury related
- Perform coding audits and assist in improving coding accuracy and quality
- Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks as per SLA requirements
- Support denial analysis related to coding errors and implement corrective actions
- Stay updated with coding guidelines, regulatory updates, and payer-specific rules
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations
- Participate in internal quality checks, audits, and training sessions
- Verifying the criteria and provide usage of accurate modifiers
- Reviewing the MR and assisting on denials related to Medical necessity





Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Understanding of DME O&P; coding guidelines and modifiers usage
- Familiarity with NCCI edits, LCD/NCD policies, and payer rules
- Experience in provider-side coding (mandatory)
- Ability to interpret clinical documentation accurately
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills for handling provider queries
- Ability to meet productivity and quality benchmarks

Qualifications:

- Any Graduate (Life Sciences preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in US Healthcare Medical Coding (Provider side mandatory)
- Active Medical Coding Certification required (any one or more):
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder – AAPC)
- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist – AHIMA)
- Certification must be active and in good standing
