About the Role:

We are looking for a Company Secretary (CS) Intern to support the Secretarial and Compliance function of an NBFC. The intern will work closely with the reporting manager on corporate secretarial matters and RBI regulatory compliances applicable to NBFCs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in monitoring compliance with RBI regulations and other applicable laws.
- Read and analyse RBI circulars, Master Directions, and regulatory updates, and prepare concise summaries.
- Prepare and maintain compliance checklists and trackers.
- Support the drafting and updating of internal policies, SOPs, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in Board and Committee meeting preparations, including agenda papers and minutes.
- Support statutory filings and maintenance of secretarial records under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research on compliance-related matters.
- Coordinate with internal teams for compliance-related information and documentation.

Skills & Qualifications:

- CS Executive Programme cleared / Professional Programme student
- Strong interest in NBFC regulations, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Good analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of the Companies Act, 2013 and corporate compliances

Preferred

Internship or prior exposure to an NBFC, bank, financial institution, or compliance function will be an added advantage.
