Role & Responsibilities :-

- Manufacturing of silico-manganese, ferro-manganese, ferro-chrome and pig iron in sub-marged arc furnace.
- Experience in Shift In-Charge Ferro Alloys.
- To give advice to shift in-charge and others about any production related problem like raw material handling, slipping, tapping, batching, paste level etc.
- Solving any furnace related problem and taking correction according to the desired grade of the product.
- Giving special attention to housekeeping of entire area of SAF division.
- Knowledge in full composition of metal and slag and raw materials of SAF.
- Knowledge in handling of raw materials used in ferro alloy industry.Main raw materials are manganese ore, chrome ore, iron ore, high manganese slag, lam coke, pearl coke,breeze coke, cil coke,jhama coal, steam coal, dolomite, quartz etc.
- Metal recovery from waste materials of steel plant like pollution dust, pickling sludge, mill scale, grinding dust etc.




- Full khowledge in ferro alloy operation with positive recovery of metal with desired grade from all type of manganese or chrome or iron ores.
- Stock maintain of all raw materials and finished product in daily basis.
- Handling of manpower in all section of SAF operation.
- Best result with cost control, housekeeping and safety.
