Role & responsibilities

I am seeking a legal assistant to help me with my legal issues in Kochi.

Your primary responsibility (now) will be to meet with my primary lawyer, discuss status, understand case load, and get my court issues moving forward. In this regard, you will be discussing the cases, helping draft, reading drafted filings, and doing whatever is required, to get case load moving forward.

Requirements for the job is that you:

1. Reside in Kochi

2. Have a Law Degree

3. Work will be part time from your home in Kochi

4. Ideal candidate will have their own private practice and will add this job as a part time secondary position along with your practice.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a remote work position.

While you can do some work from home, it is not a fully remote position. You will have to visit Lawyers,



go for court appearances, and meet with other individuals as needed in Kochi and elsewhere.

ZERO hours to 20 hours per week commitment will be needed. (although most weeks will be very little work).

Preferred candidate profile

2+ years of commitment required in this position.

After 2 years or working with me, you will be eligible for a recommendation letter.

Own transportation (such as a 2-wheeler or car) preferable although not necessary. You will be compensated for any travel outside Kochi.
