Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Senior Consultant to design, develop, optimize, and support SAP HANA solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess robust expertise in SAP HANA modeling, performance tuning, data provisioning, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities SAP HANA Development & Modeling

- Design and develop SAP HANA data models using:

- Attribute Views

- Analytic Views

- Calculation Views

- CDS Views (where applicable)

- Create and maintain database procedures, functions, and SQL scripts.

- Develop complex data transformations and business logic using SQLScript.

Performance Optimization
- Analyze and optimize SAP HANA database performance.

- Perform query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and memory optimization.

- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.

Data Integration & Migration
- Implement data provisioning solutions using:

- SAP SLT

- SAP Data Services

- SDA/SDI

- ETL tools

- Support migration projects from legacy databases to SAP HANA.

System Administration Support
- Collaborate with Basis teams on:

- HANA installations and upgrades

- Backup and recovery

- High availability and disaster recovery

- Security and user management

Project Delivery
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Prepare functional and technical design documents.

- Lead workshops, design sessions, and client discussions.





- Provide effort estimations and technical guidance.

Leadership & Mentoring
- Mentor junior consultants and developers.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Support knowledge-sharing initiatives across teams.

Required Skills Technical Skills
- Strong experience with SAP HANA.

- Expertise in SQL, SQLScript, and database programming.

- Hands-on experience with Calculation Views and HANA Modeling.

- Knowledge of SAP BW on HANA and SAP S/4HANA integration.

- Experience with data replication technologies (SLT, SDI, SDA).

- Understanding of SAP Native HANA development.

- Familiarity with performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Functional Skills
- Requirement gathering and solution design.

- Stakeholder management.

- Documentation and presentation skills.

- Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5 10+ years of SAP experience with at least 5 6 years in SAP HANA.

- SAP HANA certification preferred.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations is highly desirable.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as SAP Business Technology Platform, Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services.

Nice-to-Have Skills
- ABAP on HANA.

- SAP BW/4HANA.

- SAP Analytics Cloud.

- Data warehousing and data lake concepts.

- Python or scripting knowledge.
