Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Opcenter/MES Presales Consultant to support sales efforts by identifying customer needs, designing MES solutions, and demonstrating the value of Siemens Opcenter and related manufacturing execution technologies. The ideal candidate will combine strong manufacturing domain knowledge with solution consulting, technical storytelling, and customer-facing presales expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with sales teams to understand customer pain points, business goals, and manufacturing process requirements.
- Lead discovery discussions, solution workshops, and value-based conversations with customers and stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept support for Opcenter/MES solutions.
- Translate customer requirements into feasible MES solution architectures and high-level implementation approaches.
- Support RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, proposals, effort estimation, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with implementation, product, and sales teams to ensure smooth handoff from presales to delivery.
- Contribute to opportunity qualification, pipeline development, and technical closure.
- Stay current on manufacturing digitalization trends, MES best practices, and Siemens Opcenter capabilities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in MES,



manufacturing software, solution consulting, or presales roles.
- Robust hands-on understanding of Siemens Opcenter / MES concepts, manufacturing workflows, and shop-floor operations.
- Experience supporting customer demos, workshops, and solution proposals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced presales environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in discrete manufacturing, automotive, industrial machinery, or process manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP, PLM, SCM, automation, SCADA, IIoT, and integration frameworks.
- Experience with solution architecture, business process mapping, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to Siemens ecosystem tools or enterprise software platforms.
