We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive GST Executive to manage end-to-end GST compliance activities across PAN India (10 states). The role involves ensuring timely and accurate GST return filings, tax reconciliations, statutory compliance, audit support, and responding to GST notices. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of GST regulations and be capable of maintaining accurate tax records while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities & Goals:
- Prepare GST tax computations, ensure timely payment of taxes, and file GST returns, including GSTR-3B and GSTR
- Perform timely reconciliation of GSTR-3B with GSTR-2A and GSTR-2B to ensure accurate availment of Input Tax Credit (ITC) and proper accounting in the books.
- Compute and file Input Service Distributor (ISD) returns in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Generate and monitor E-way Bills, ensuring proper utilization and compliance.
- Issue Delivery Challans and track their usage as per regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and file Annual GST Returns within prescribed due dates.
- Support GST audits, departmental assessments, and other compliance-related activities.
- Prepare and coordinate responses to notices, queries, and communications received from GST authorities.
- Maintain statutory records, ensure proper documentation, and manage the archival of tax-related records.
- Stay updated with GST laws, amendments, and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and recommend process improvements where required.
What are the essential knowledge, experiences and skills you need for this role?
- Must be MBA / Postgraduate / Semi Qualified CA or Semi Qualified CMA.
- 3-5 years of experience in GST and Indirect Taxes.
- Good knowledge of Indirect Tax Laws.
- Good interpretation skills of Law.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong Computer knowledge of MS Office with strong hand in Excel.
- Capable to perform under pressure and can handle PAN India Compliances.
- Must be valuable team player.
