Roles & Responsibility
- Leading a small Strategic Procurement Team
- Annualised, continuous direct material cost reduction
- Lead and achieve excellence in the commodity areas of Electrical, Electronics,
- Proprietary and others like Casting, Machining, Sheet metal etc.
- Developing Sourcing Strategy Incl. Supplier Portfolio
- Material cost estimation and budgeting
- Supply Chain optimization and Risk management
- Negotiation and Supply Chain Contracting + Contract Management
- Supplier market observation and implementing the results into supply strategy
- Act as a bridge between current product development team and tactical
- procurement team
Work Experience
- 15-20 Years of total working experience in Procurement
- International Machine Building/Electrical/Electronic Engineering industry and OEM/ Automotive
- Leading a team of sourcing professionals for at least 5 years
- Supply Strategy development incl. Supplier Portfolio Management
- Strategic Sourcing Lead in the category of Electrical/ Electronics/ Proprietary commodities, as well as others like Casting, Machining, Sheet metal, etc.
- Supplier Evaluation, Auditing and Development Supply Chain Contracting and Negotiation
