Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in commercial fit-out projects to manage project costing, quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, cost control, and commercial management. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of interior fit-out works, materials, vendor quotations, and project budgets to ensure cost efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope of work to determine project requirements.
- Prepare detailed rate analysis and evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
- Review and compare vendor/subcontractor quotations and negotiate for cost optimization.
- Monitor project budgets, track variations, and manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project cost reports, budget forecasts, and commercial analysis.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Design Teams, Procurement Teams, and Vendors for smooth project execution.
- Evaluate and process variation orders, extra works, and change requests.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and payment certifications.




- Maintain project documentation related to contracts, quotations, purchase orders, and commercial records.
- Support project closure activities including final accounts and reconciliation.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in commercial interior fit-out, workplace interiors, or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of fit-out works including civil, flooring, ceiling, partitions, furniture, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and MEP services.
- Proficiency in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
- Good knowledge of market rates, materials, and vendor management.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation/costing tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with commercial office fit-out projects, corporate workplaces, managed offices, or turnkey interior projects.
- Knowledge of contracts, billing processes, and project commercial management will be preferred.
