- Issue of train orders & granting of recommissioning (with restrictions if necessary), control of shunting work within depot, track allocation planning.
- Creates and provides maintenance plan to customer Operations.
- Coordination and documentation with operations (Indian Railway) for handover and hand back of vehicles for different schedules.
- Joint inspection with operations staff during locomotive takeover at depot.
- Analyzing A&V; in coordination with Maintenance delivery (ECM IV) and cost estimation & reconciliation of same with IR.
- Planning and scheduling of service orders in CMMS and issue of train service orders accordingly.
- Coordination with IR PPIO for shunting and with maintenance function for track allocation
- Pre-maintenance check, pre-departure check and issuance of fitness certificate of locomotives.
- Contractual maintenance reporting to Indian Railways.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors degree / Diploma in electrical / electronic / mechanical engineering or equivalent with min. 10 years of experience.
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in rolling stock fleet / maintenance management function.
- Should have hands on experience of CMMS.
- Positive command of both the spoken and written English language along with good communication skills.
- Good organizing, documenting & presenting skills
