- Develop road and highway design layouts including alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Perform geometric design as per IRC, AASHTO, or relevant international standards.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, or OpenRoads.
- Conduct earthwork calculations, quantity take-offs, and grading design.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including drainage, traffic, and structural engineers.
- Review survey data and integrate into design models.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support preparation of technical reports, DPRs (Detailed Project Reports), and tender documents.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling,
and resolving design-related issues.
- Participate in design reviews and assist senior engineers in decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred).
- 5 years of experience in road/highway design projects.

- Bentley OpenRoads / MX Road
- MS Excel and other engineering tools
