Finance & Accounts Manager – D2C Brand

The Role

We need a hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager to own our financial operations from books to compliance to marketplace reconciliations while working directly with the founder on business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and monthly/year-end financial closing.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow reports, profitability analysis, and management dashboards.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations, including filing of returns and reconciliations.
- Handle accounting and reconciliations across D2C and marketplace channels such as Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, Tata CLiQ, and payment gateways.
- Monitor inventory accounting, returns, vendor settlements, platform deductions, commission structures, and revenue recognition.




- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities during audits and statutory assessments.
- Develop and strengthen accounting processes, SOPs, internal controls, and financial reporting systems.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, working capital planning, and cash flow management.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and business teams to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations directly to the founder to support strategic business decisions.

Requirements

- B.Com/Finance degree; CA Inter or MBA (Finance) preferred
- 4–5 years in a D2C, consumer brand, or e-commerce company
- Solid grip on marketplace accounting & reconciliations
- Proficient in Tally Prime/Zoho Books + Advanced Excel
- Solid knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS
