PRIME FUNCTION

To support production operations by ensuring productive manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, minimizing downtime, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description / Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and executing daily production activities as per schedules
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve machine breakdowns and reduce downtime
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation
- Support implementation of process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and suggest corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in audits and support corrective/preventive actions
- Work closely with quality, maintenance,



and supply chain teams

AUTHORITY

- Authority to report and escalate production issues to senior engineers or supervisors
- Authority to recommend process improvements and corrective actions
- Limited decision-making authority in day-to-day operational adjustments under supervision

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in mechanical / industrial engineering or related field.

Experience

- 0-2 years of experience in production planning and control in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies

- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning
- Understanding of quality standards and safety practices
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and production-related software
- Willingness to work in shifts
