Head of Future Student Recruitment – UNSW Bengaluru

Position Summary

The Head of Future Student Recruitment will lead the strategy and execution of undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment for UNSW Bengaluru, driving enrolment growth and conversion outcomes. The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment pipeline, enhancing the prospective student experience, and building scalable recruitment capabilities in alignment with UNSW Sydney's global frameworks, governance, and compliance standards. Working closely with stakeholders across Bengaluru and Sydney, the role will deliver data-driven recruitment initiatives aligned with institutional priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute student recruitment and conversion strategies to achieve enrolment targets.
- Lead recruitment planning, outreach, events, digital engagement, and relationship-based conversion activities.
- Drive conversion through effective pipeline management, CRM processes, and high-touch student engagement.
- Build recruitment capability through training, coaching, sales enablement, and process improvements.
- Monitor recruitment performance, market trends, and competitor activity to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with campus leadership, admissions, marketing, faculties,



and global UNSW teams to deliver integrated recruitment initiatives.
- Manage recruitment budgets, ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements, and mitigate operational risks.
- Champion UNSW's values while maintaining a safe, ethical, and student-centric recruitment setting.

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Relevant tertiary qualification with significant experience in student recruitment, sales, marketing, or related fields.
- Proven success in achieving recruitment and conversion targets within a customer-focused, target-driven environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in CRM, pipeline management, conversion strategy, and ROI.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams, driving capability development, and improving recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Desirable

- Experience in higher education or other regulated sectors.
- Exposure to multi-market or multi-cohort recruitment.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms, lead management, and conversion analytics.
- Experience supporting organisational growth, transformation, or scale-up initiatives.
