Position Overview

The Head – Maintenance & Projects will lead the end-to-end maintenance and project management function across all Nature's Basket stores in Mumbai. The role is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted store operations by maintaining all assets, executing new store fit-outs, renovations, and refurbishment projects while optimizing costs, vendor performance, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all retail stores and corporate facilities.Ensure timely maintenance of electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, civil, fire safety, and mechanical systems.Lead new store fit-outs, renovations, relocations, and refurbishment projects from planning to handover.Prepare project timelines, budgets, BOQs, and execution plans.Coordinate with architects,



consultants, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders.Manage vendors, negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs, and evaluate performance.Prepare annual maintenance and CAPEX budgets and control costs.Ensure statutory compliance related to fire safety, electrical systems, and local regulations.Lead and mentor the maintenance and projects team.Provide MIS reports and support current store expansion through technical feasibility assessments.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

- 10–15 years of experience in Retail, Supermarket, Hypermarket, Hospitality, or QSR.

- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.

- Experience in handling multiple store locations and retail fit-outs is mandatory.
