JobResponsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS legal and statutory requirements; advise management on regulatory updates and changes.
- Guide and support sites in obtaining and renewing statutory approvals and licenses (PCB, Fire, PESO, CGWA, Factories Act, etc.).
- Drive implementation of Saint-Gobain EHS standards and coordinate EHS audits across sites; monitor corrective actions and closure.
- Assess the effectiveness of EHS controls and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead process safety, combustion safety, gap assessments, and incident investigations; ensure cross-learning and best practice deployment.
- Strengthening EHS culture through employee engagement, awareness campaigns, and safety promotion initiatives.
- Support achievement of sustainability objectives related to carbon emissions, water conservation, waste reduction, and circular economy initiatives.




- Implement Industrial Hygiene standards, including chemical exposure, noise, heat stress, and indoor air quality management.
- Review and support ETP/STP performance and provide technical guidance on environmental management systems.
- Lead EHS training, competency development, and mentor EHS professionals across sites.
- Ensure effective implementation and continual improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Provide EHS leadership and technical support for greenfield, brownfield, and operational excellence projects.
- Support World Class Manufacturing (WCM) implementation and EHS pillar deployment.
- Establish EHS KPIs, monitor performance, and drive annual business plans and EHS capital expenditure programs.
