Job Title: Head – Network & Hardware

Job Description:

- Lead and manage the University's IT network infrastructure, server workplace, hardware systems, and data center operations across all campuses.
- Design, implement, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, network security, and enterprise hardware to ensure high availability and performance.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of desktops, laptops, servers, storage, printers, and other IT hardware.
- Ensure cybersecurity, network reliability, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and compliance with institutional IT policies.
- Lead the IT infrastructure team, coordinate with vendors,



manage AMC contracts, procurement, and technology upgrades.
- Support digital transformation initiatives by planning scalable, secure, and future-ready IT infrastructure for academic and administrative operations.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 12–15+ years of experience in network administration, IT infrastructure, and hardware management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking (Cisco, Juniper, HP/Aruba, etc.), servers, virtualization, storage, firewalls, and cloud technologies.
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft, VMware, Fortinet, or equivalent will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, project management, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
