Role Description-

The Shaurya Officer role at HDFC Life is a full-time, on-site position based in Meerut. The Shaurya Officer is responsible for acquiring and servicing customers, particularly from defense and armed forces segments, by explaining life insurance products and helping them select suitable solutions. Day-to-day tasks include meeting prospective customers, conducting needs analysis, presenting customized plans, and supporting policy issuance and documentation. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, coordinating with branch teams and Financial Consultants, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.



The Shaurya Officer is expected to work toward sales targets, contribute to local outreach initiatives, and uphold HDFC Life's service and ethical standards.

Qualifications-

- Solid customer relationship and service skills, including the ability to understand needs, build trust, and provide clear product guidance.
- Sales and business development capabilities, with comfort in meeting targets, conducting field visits, and converting opportunities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in explaining financial concepts and insurance benefits in simple terms.
- Basic financial awareness and interest in insurance, investment, and protection products; prior experience in financial services or insurance is an advantage.
- Ability to work in an on-site, branch-based environment in Meerut, collaborating with internal teams and consultants.
- Organizational and documentation skills to manage proposals, policy records, and compliance requirements accurately.
- Minimum educational qualification typically at graduate level in any discipline; additional certifications in finance or insurance are beneficial.
- Comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems for tracking leads, customer interactions, and reporting.
