The System Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the payroll database and related systems operate in full compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards. This role partners closely with Payroll, IT, HR, Internal Audit, and external auditors to maintain system integrity, data accuracy, security, and audit readiness across all payroll processes.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Develop and implement company policies and regulations
- Maintaining overall security and compliance within our system(s)
- Maintain User Role Security
- Regularly assess and audit the efficiencies of controls
- Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify common issues
- Provide feedback and suggestions to leadership
- Coordinate with other department management to review departmental compliance policies
- Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Knowledge of information systems governance,



data integrity standards, and system access controls.
- Knowledge of system lifecycle management, including change management, validation, and configuration control.
- Knowledge of incident management, corrective action plans (CAPs), and root-cause analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify compliance gaps and assess system risks.
- Proficiency in audit preparation, internal assessments, and regulatory readiness activities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for explaining compliance requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Skill in cross-functional collaboration with IT, operations, security, legal, and leadership teams.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple audits, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
