Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing operations related to non-ferrous metal alloys, ingot production, melting, casting, and valve component manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, process control, quality compliance, manpower management, productivity improvement, and achieving production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities in melting, alloying, casting, and finishing operations.
- Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Monitor and control alloy composition, melting parameters, and casting processes.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores,



and Dispatch departments for smooth operations.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce rejection rates, and minimize production costs.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications for non-ferrous alloys, ingots, and valve castings.
- Analyze production reports, downtime records, and rejection data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Supervise shop-floor personnel and maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental norms, and company policies.
- Train and guide operators and junior engineers on production best practices.
- Participate in recent product development, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
