Job Description: A Technical Assistant in a steel manufacturing plant acts as a vital bridge between senior management, engineering, and plant floor operations. They oversee plant performance data, manage technical documentation, coordinate projects, and assist executives or production heads in maintaining operational efficiency across blast furnaces, rolling mills, and power units. Key Responsibilities

- Operational Coordination: Support daily operations by compiling, summarizing, and tracking performance metrics related to production output and equipment health.
- Project Management: Track ongoing/upcoming projects, cultivate relationships with suppliers and contractors, and ensure deliverables are met on schedule.
- Data Reporting: Prepare detailed management information system (MIS) reports, technical summaries, and presentations to aid executive decision-making.
- Quality & Compliance:



Identify technical gaps in existing resources, conduct research on industry best practices, and assist in maintaining safety protocols.

Typical Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: Typically ranges from 2 to 5+ years, depending on whether the role is for an entry-level trainee or an experienced project coordinator.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), robust understanding of steelmaking processes, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
