L3 DevOps Engineer – Azure Cloud
Practice: Cloud CoE / Platform Engineering
Designation: DevOps Engineer / Senior DevOps Engineer (L3)
Experience: 5–8 years (with strong hands-on DevOps and Azure exposure)

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced L3 DevOps Engineer to support and enhance cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure. The role involves hands-on implementation, automation, CI/CD pipeline management, cloud infrastructure support, and close collaboration with architecture, security, and application teams. You will be part of customer-facing delivery teams supporting enterprise workloads, landing zones, POCs, and migration initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities
Understand customer application architecture, infrastructure landscape, and operational requirements to implement and support DevOps and cloud automation solutions.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions for application and infrastructure deployments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform for Azure resources and landing zones.
Collaborate with network, security, IAM, backup, monitoring, and application teams to ensure stable and secure cloud operations.
Perform L3-level troubleshooting for build failures, deployment issues, environment stability, and performance bottlenecks.
Support POCs, pilot migrations, and release activities across Dev/Test/UAT/Prod environments.
Implement and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident/root cause analysis.
Optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance, and operational excellence.
Maintain technical documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and LLDs.
Mentor L1/L2 teams and support knowledge transition for DevOps processes and tools.
Stay updated with Azure DevOps best practices, market trends, and current platform features.

Technical Skills & Requirements
Core DevOps & Cloud
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
Proficient in CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code: ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform.




Hands-on knowledge of Azure Landing Zones and subscription governance.
