About the role
Job Summary
The Sr. Logistics Officer is responsible for managing logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role supports logistics planning and optimization across the supply chain. This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision. This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate logistics activities including inbound and outbound transportation.
• Monitor warehouse operations and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers,



and internal teams to resolve delivery issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain logistics documentation and performance metrics.

Skills & Qualifications
Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and at least 3–4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role. Additional qualifications:
• Experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse operations.
• Robust organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
