Brief Description/Job Summary
GCC Vadodara campus is looking to hire a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) to support multiple new product development and other engineering initiatives in the field of plastic/mechanical product design. As a part of the Global Capability Center, the selected candidate will assist in executing projects that involve product development, sustain engineering, design for assembly/manufacturing, and mold-flow analysis using various plastic materials. We're looking for individuals with a robust interest or foundational knowledge in mechanical/plastic engineering, who are eager to learn, collaborate, and grow.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities
Support the mechanical design and development of products involving plastic and metallic components.




Participate in tolerance stack-up studies, DFMEA, and DFM activities 2D/3D CAD preparation and detail engineering using Creo.
Learn and adhere to design and quality standards as per project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional global teams on engineering deliverables.

Must Have Competencies
• Solid understanding of core mechanical engineering concepts (mechanics, materials & manufacturing processes).
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively in a professional setting.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, dimensioning standards, and basic GD&T.;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good to Have Competencies
• Hands-on experience or academic project in product design, or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience of Creo software.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical qualities.

Qualifications
• B.Tech./ BE in Mechanical engineering (2026 pass-out preferred).
• Strong academic record with marks >60% throughout academics.
