Job Summary
This is the person for Reporting
Key Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities :
• Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders; translate business questions into measurable metrics and report specifications.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and scorecards (daily/weekly/monthly) with defined SLAs.
• Validate data accuracy and completeness; perform reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Automate report generation where possible; reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Define and document metric definitions, data sources, business rules, and report logic.
• Monitor report performance and usage; optimize refresh times and usability.
• Support ad-hoc analyses, deep dives, and executive summaries as needed.
• Partner with data engineering/IT to resolve data issues, improve pipelines, and implement new data sources.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, access controls, and confidentiality requirements.
• Provide training and support to users on report interpretation and self-service tools.
Skill Requirements
Skill Requirement :




• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–6 years of experience in reporting/BI/analytics (range can be adjusted by seniority).
• Strong SQL skills; ability to write and optimize queries, joins, and aggregations.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, SSRS).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, formulas; VBA optional).
• Strong understanding of data concepts: KPIs, dimensions/measures, data quality, and basic data modeling.
• Excellent communication skills—ability to explain insights to non-technical audiences.
• Robust attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines.
Other Requirements
Other Requirement :
• Experience with data warehousing concepts (star schema, ETL/ELT) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Hands-on knowledge of Power BI data modeling/DAX (or equivalent in other BI tools).
• Experience with Python/R for automation and analysis.
• Exposure to ticketing/requirements tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) and documentation practices (Confluence, SharePoint).
• Domain experience (e.g., finance, operations, HR, sales, customer support) relevant to the business.
