Secondary
Packing-Operator Block-A 1. Line clearance during starting of new batch/product. 2. Handling of dispensed packing material in Primary packing area. 3. Daily verification and monthly calibration of balances. 4. Operation and cleaning of CVC/COUNTEC machines. 5. In process checking during batch packing. 6. Daily monitoring of temperature in primary packing and record in sequential log 7. Operation and cleaning of Blister packing machine. 8. To maintain the individual training record as per training program.

Secondary Packing Operator 2
Block-A Basic Function: Primarily responsible for packing of Drug products according to respective product Batch Record and related SOPs.

Job Responsibilities:
• To pack Drug products according to respective product Batch Record and related SOPs.
• Responsible for the set-up, operation, cleaning and changeovers of packing equipment.
• Cleaning and sanitization of packing areas including walls, floors, and ceilings per current SOPs.
• Perform in-process checks during batch packing as per the respective BPR and SOPs.
• To maintain the packing equipment in operational,



calibrated and qualified condition as per respective SOP.
• Responsible for maintaining a neat and systematic work area at all times.
• Handle the process and packing materials as per the respective product Batch Record and related SOPs.
• To handle the in-process and batch rejections as per SOP.
• Responsible for following Current Good Packing Practices (cGMP).
• Identify and report quality issues.
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions or unusual circumstances to supervisor.
• Other duties, which may be assigned from time to time, by reporting manager.
• To complete the trainings as per assigned Training Need identification (TNI).
• To carry out environmental monitoring (Temperature, Relative humidity and Differential pressure) in area.
• To coordinate with engineering person for smooth operation of equipment’s

Essential job requirements
• Understand the purpose and function of packing process and equipment.
• Execute procedures for packing processes in accordance with batch packing record (BPR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements.
• Ability to document in log books or batch records while performing the job using positive documentation practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to write and record data as per ALCOA policy.
• Comply to the Privilege rights matrix (PRM) of the Organization.
