Job Summary
Senior UI/UX Engineer 1 position

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
User Research & Analysis
Conduct user research, usability testing, and interviews to gather insights about user needs and behaviors.
Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions and improve user experience.

UI/UX Design
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Develop user interface (UI) components that are visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines.
Collaborate with product teams to define user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns.

Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and to maintain design integrity during implementation.
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the design process.

Design Systems & Standards
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency across products.
Establish and promote UI/UX best practices and design standards within the team.

Continuous Improvement
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative design solutions to the team.
Analyze user metrics and feedback post-launch to identify areas for improvement in the user experience.

Qualifications & Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
7+ years experience as a software engineer




Excellent experience in working in an agile team using Scrum or Kanban.
Deep understanding of React fundamentals
Proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+
Familiarity with Redux
Proficiency in HTML and CSS
Experience with version control systems
Familiarity with testing libraries
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Awareness of performance optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of web applications using javascript, react, and java.
2. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
3. Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and other teams to define technical requirements, estimate project timelines, and prioritize tasks.
4. Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance application performance and functionality.
5. Troubleshoot technical issues, provide recommendations for resolution, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
6. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in javascript, react, and java to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in javascript, react, and java programming languages.
2. Strong experience in designing and developing web applications using javascript frameworks like react.
3. Knowledge of restful apis, json, and asynchronous programming.
4. Expertise in database technologies such as mysql, mongodb, or postgresql.
5. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as git and ci/cd pipelines.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team environment.
7. Robust communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and interact with stakeholders.
