Job Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures for senior secondary classes (Grades 11‑12) in Physics and Chemistry.
- Design and conduct practical laboratory sessions, ensuring safety protocols and accurate measurement techniques.
- Develop and evaluate formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, assignments, and board examinations.
- Provide individualized academic support and mentorship to students, fostering critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Collaborate with department heads and fellow faculty members to align curriculum with the latest educational standards and board guidelines.
- Participate in co‑curricular activities, workshops, and parent‑teacher meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and laboratory inventory.
- Stay updated with advancements in Physics and Chemistry pedagogy through continuous professional development.

Essential Qualifications

- Master’s degree (M. Sc.)



in Physics or Chemistry from a recognized university.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification or equivalent teacher eligibility certification.
- Clearance of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) is preferred.
- Proficiency in English and the regional medium of instruction.
- Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Grades 11‑12).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct practical laboratory experiments and manage lab equipment.
- Experience with digital teaching tools, virtual labs, and online assessment platforms is an advantage.
- Track record of improving student academic performance and fostering a love for science.
