Position: Education counsellor

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Counsellor to guide prospective students/clients through the admission or service process.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills to understand individual needs, provide accurate information, and help them make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students/clients regarding available courses, programs, or services.

Understand individual requirements and recommend suitable options.

Handle inquiries through phone calls, emails, Whats

App, and walk-ins.

Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication to improve conversions.

Assist candidates with the application, admission, or enrollment process.

Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM or Excel.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Meet assigned admission/enrollment targets.

Conduct counseling sessions, webinars, and information seminars when required.





Build and maintain robust relationships with students, parents, or clients.

Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong counseling, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.

Positive organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power

Point) and CRM tools.

Ability to work in a target-driven environment.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree is an advantage).
1–5 years of experience in Student Counseling, Academic Counseling, Education Sales, Career Counseling, or Customer Relationship Management.

Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.

Preferred Skills
Experience in educational institutions, EdTech companies, training institutes, or career counseling.

Knowledge of admission processes and counseling techniques.

Ability to handle multiple inquiries and prioritize tasks effectively.
