Social Media Intern

Purplle.com | Mumbai (On-site) | 3 Months (Extendable to 6)

We’re looking for a social media intern to manage our Instagram and LinkedIn presence end-to-end — from creating content to posting it to tracking what works.

This isn’t a “shadow someone and learn” internship. You’ll own the accounts. You’ll plan the content calendar, create 15–20 posts per month for each platform, schedule and publish them, and track engagement and follower growth. If something blows up, that’s yours. If a comment needs a response, that’s yours too.

What You’ll Do

Plan and execute a monthly content calendar for Instagram and LinkedIn (15–20 posts per platform)

Create post content — visuals, captions, carousels, reels — using AI tools (Canva AI, ChatGPT, etc.) and basic design skills

Schedule and publish posts across both platforms

Monitor and manage ORM (Online Reputation Management) — respond to comments, DMs, and mentions

Track key metrics weekly: engagement rate, follower growth, reach, and top-performing posts

Suggest content ideas based on trends, competitor activity, and audience behaviour

What We’re Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed BMM, Mass Communication, Arts,



or a related course from a Mumbai college

Active on Instagram and LinkedIn — you understand how both platforms work, what content performs, and why

Comfortable using AI tools for content creation (Higgsflield AI, Canva AI, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar) — we want someone who creates fast, not someone who starts from scratch every time

Basic design sense — you don’t need to be a designer, but your posts should look clean and on-brand

Strong written communication — captions matter as much as visuals

Self-starter — you’ll get guidance, but you’ll own the execution

Running social media for a brand with millions of customers, not a college project

Content creation at speed using AI-assisted workflows

Reading social media analytics and making data-informed content decisions

ORM and community management for a consumer brand

Duration: 3 months, extendable to 6 based on performance

Location: Mumbai (in office)
