Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Assess students strengths and needs through observation, testing, and collaboration.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate various disabilities.
Provide one-on-one or small group instruction tailored to students abilities.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support inclusion and differentiated learning.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategies.
Maintain detailed records of student performance and interventions.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and career development.
Advocate for the needs and rights of students with special needs.

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.




Certification or license in Special Education (as per local regulations).
Experience working with students with disabilities such as autism, learning disabilities, or emotional challenges.
Knowledge of educational strategies, therapies, and assistive technologies.
Patience, empathy, and solid interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech therapy, or occupational therapy.
Experience with inclusive classroom settings.
Familiarity with legal and ethical guidelines in special education.
