Qualification: Diploma in Optometry / Bachelor in Optometry

Job Description

· Perform complete eye examination.

· Identify the patient's visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination.

· Diagnose sight problems, such as near-sightedness and colour blindness.

· Writes prescriptions for glasses, contact lenses, corrective lenses, orthoptic and non-optical aids

· Identify and assess eye defects and diseases

· Maintain accurate medical files for all patients. Record all diagnosis and treatment plans including transfers and therapeutic prescriptions.

· Providing emergency care and treatment, as necessary

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Working knowledge of the anatomy of the eye various ocular pathologies and diseases

· Optometric theory, technology and practices

· Ability to use ophthalmology equipments

· Fluency in Marathi/ Hindi / English
