Job Description

Responsibilities:
Assist in designing and supporting HPC (High-Performance Computing) and storage systems on-premises and in cloud clusters.
Troubleshoot issues related to OS, storage, network, and other infrastructure components in collaboration with other infrastructure teams.
Enhance research infrastructure by exploring and deploying recent technologies and methodologies.
Support management of diverse compute capabilities, including CPU and GPU resources.
Work directly with trading teams to provide a fully integrated research platform.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant work experience in HPC, storage, or infrastructure support.
Experience with distributed file systems such as NFS and Weka.
Familiarity with job schedulers such as Slurm.




Experience with cloud providers like GCP or AWS.
Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP stack, Ethernet).
Understanding of Linux kernel concepts (e.g., virtual memory, filesystems, CPU scheduling).
Programming experience with Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
Working knowledge of hardware and server components.
Robust communication skills and interest in tracking hardware/software technology trends.
