Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Network L1 VoIP Engineer to join our IT support team. You will be responsible for providing Level 1 support for VoIP systems and network-related issues. This includes basic troubleshooting, user support, and escalation to L2/L3 teams as necessary Provide Level 1 support for VoIP-related service requests. Assist in configuring and deploying IP phones and softphones. Must have basic knowledge of Networking. Troubleshoot basic call quality issues. Handle end-user VoIP issues such as one-way audio, registration failure, or voicemail access. Perform basic network diagnostics. Escalate tickets as per SLA guidelines using tools like ServiceNow. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain documentation.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide Level 1 support for VoIP-related service requests.




• Assist in configuring and deploying IP phones and softphones.
• Must have basic knowledge of Networking.
• Troubleshoot basic call quality issues.
• Handle end-user VoIP issues such as one-way audio, registration failure, or voicemail access.
• Perform basic network diagnostics.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain documentation.

Skill Requirements
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SIP, RTP, and VoIP protocols.
• Familiarity with IP PBX systems (e.g., Cisco CallManager, Asterisk, Avaya, FreePBX).
• Positive communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in shifts (24x7 setting if required).
• Certification(s) like CCNA (Voice/Collab), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent – preferred but not mandatory.
