Role Description

The Graphic Designer role at Bihar Live is a full-time, in office position based in Patna. In this role, the designer will create visual assets for articles, social media posts, and digital campaigns, ensuring consistent branding and high visual impact. Daily responsibilities include designing graphics and layouts, developing logos and brand elements, selecting and refining typography, and collaborating with editors and content creators to support storytelling. The Graphic Designer will also adapt designs for various digital formats,



maintain organised design files, and contribute creative ideas to enhance audience engagement.

Qualifications
Ability to create high-quality visual assets using core skills in Graphics and Graphic Design.
Experience in Logo Design and Branding to develop and maintain a consistent visual identity.
Strong sense of Typography, including font selection, hierarchy, and readability for digital content.
Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or equivalent).
Understanding of digital media formats and social media design best practices.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work within deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom workplace.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with editorial and marketing teams.
Relevant education or training in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio demonstrating prior work is essential.
