Role & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data processing systems using Databricks and Apache Spark.
Create and maintain ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading across various data sources.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
Implement data models and schemas on the Databricks platform to support business analytics and reporting.
Ensure robust performance, security, and data quality in all data processing workflows.
Participate in code reviews, documentation,
and deployment activities to uphold best practices in data engineering.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
Proficiency in Apache Spark and Databricks platform
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
Experience with ETL pipeline development and data integration
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Understanding of data modeling and architecture best practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred
Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop or Kafka
Certifications related to Databricks or cloud platforms
Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning integration
