About the Role

As a Technology Lead at IDFC FIRST Bank, you will be responsible for leading the engineering team and driving the development and integration of microservices for our new-age banking solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement APIs that enhance customer experience and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

- Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and implement APIs for current-age banking solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in software development and engineering.
- Apply strong knowledge of API development and integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of API projects.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API development and integration.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.




- Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.

Secondary Responsibilities

- Support and mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
- Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

What We Are Looking For

Education

- Bachelor's degree in engineering

Experience

- 6+ years of proven experience in Banking Financia Services and Insurance

Skills and Attributes

- Strong proficiency in Java and API development frameworks.
- Experience with API management tools such as Apigee or Mule Soft.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
