Key Responsibilities
Vulnerability Management
• Perform regular and ad-hoc vulnerability scans using Qualys and Prisma Cloud across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Analyze vulnerability findings, validate results, and eliminate false positives.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, exploitability, and business impact.
• Track remediation activities and ensure closure within defined SLAs.
Cloud & Infrastructure Security
• Manage vulnerability assessments for cloud workloads, VMs, containers, and Kubernetes platforms using Prisma Cloud.
• Monitor and improve security posture for hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Support secure baseline configuration and hardening standards.
Middleware Security
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in middleware technologies including:
o Web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS)
o Application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat)
o Databases and messaging platforms
• Work closely with middleware and application teams to implement security best practices.
Collaboration & Remediation
• Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, middleware, and DevOps teams to drive vulnerability remediation.
• Provide actionable remediation guidance and technical recommendations.
• Support patching cycles and configuration management efforts.
• Assist with security incidents related to infrastructure vulnerabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
• Solid hands-on experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management (VM/VMDR).
• Experience with Prisma Cloud (CSPM / Compute Security).
• Solid understanding of middleware security and common vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of CVEs, CVSS scoring, and risk-based vulnerability prioritization.
• Experience in enterprise infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
Tools & Technologies (Preferred)
• SIEM tools: Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar
• Ticketing tools: ServiceNow, JIRA
• Patch and configuration tools: SCCM, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
