Job Summary
Job Description – Observability & DevOps Engineer (10 Key Responsibilities)
Implement and manage observability platforms with strong hands‑on experience in Grafana, Prometheus, and related monitoring stacks.
Design, configure, and maintain Grafana dashboards, including custom visualization panels, data sources, and alerting rules.
Develop automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and Shell, applying strong prompt engineering/problem‑solving skills to streamline operational workflows.
Manage AKS‑based workloads for the observability layer, including pods, deployments, config maps, and Ansible-specific annotations.
Understand and troubleshoot cloud networking concepts such as VNETs, subnets, ports, security groups, and firewall configurations relevant to observability components.
Demonstrate solid OS-level knowledge across Linux and Windows, including file systems, services, logs, and performance metrics.
Work with Azure DevOps concepts to deploy, maintain, and enhance observability and operational components.
Collaborate with SRE/DevOps teams to ensure monitoring coverage for microservices, infrastructure, and end-to-end workloads.
Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues using logs, metrics, alerts, and distributed monitoring tools.
Maintain documentation and best practices for observability architecture, alerting strategies, and operational playbooks.

Key Responsibilities
1. To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.)



In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis, Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders.
