Job Summary
Job Description: Senior Linux, Cloud & DevOps Engineer (SME)
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Ansible, Terraform DevOps Engineer (L3) to lead automation and infrastructure optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in Ansible/Chef, Terraform DevOps practices, and On prem and cloud platforms to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Architect, develop, and maintain advanced Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for enterprise environments.
• Architect, develop, and maintain advanced Terraform modules for enterprise environments.
• Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and operational workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in infrastructure and application ecosystems, providing expert solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps strategies.




• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure performance.
• Provide L2 & L3 & L4 support for Linux systems (RHEL8, RHEL9, SUSE12, SUSE15) and related infrastructure.
• Providing L3 support on GCP and Oracle cloud platform using Terraform Module and Gitlab.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux system issues promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of Linux servers and applications.
• Implement and enforce security measures and best practices.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and logs to detect and resolve potential issues.

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Linux and Ansible & terraform, Gitlab in large-scale environments.
• Extensive experience with Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
• Advanced knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and IaC principles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, or similar).
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).




• Robust experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control systems (Git).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, and security automation.
• Relevant certifications in DevOps, Ansible, or cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in IT environments.
