Job Summary
The Senior Developer specializing in SAP ABAP Programming Basics will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining SAP applications. They will work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet business requirements and support the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
2. Collaborate within team to gather and analyze requirements for customization and enhancement of SAP applications.
3. Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of SAP programs to ensure optimal performance.
4. Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and end-users.
5. Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices.
6. Ensure adherence to coding standards, development processes, and documentation requirements.

Skill Requirements
1.



Experience in SAP ABAP programming basics including ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Workbench, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and enhancements.
2. Strong understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, and HR.
3. Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP HANA is a plus.
4. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Robust interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.

Other Requirements
JD 4-6 years (Developer)
1. Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA concepts, including Code Pushdown techniques and performance optimization using CDS Views, AMDP.
2. Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 integration from backend perspective (OData service creation, service activation, debugging).
3. Knowledge of ABAP 7.4+ syntax enhancements, such as inline declarations, expressions, and advanced Open SQL with performance optimization on HANA, including ATC checks.
4. Exposure to ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) or OData service development with Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
5. Hands-on ABAP Experience of in Report, BAPI, BDC, USER Exit, Enhancement Point, BADI, SMART FORM, Label Printing.
6. Expert in ALE / IDOC, along with hands-on Workflow experience.
7. Very good understanding of PROXY / File based interface.
8. Good learner, understands ITIL/SDLC process.
9. Review process, Best SAP Practice, Code performance optimizer.
10. Technically basic understanding at least 2 SAP modules FICO/SD/MM.
