Job Summary
Primary function
Leads implementation of enhancements based on customer requirements, assists in developing, testing and implementing controlled submission, execution and monitoring of all automated enterprise business processes by utilizing the automated job scheduling software independently, (Control-M). Work on administration of the scheduling application like applying patches, agent upgrades, application upgrade, SSL certification etc.
Work will be reviewed at critical points. Ability to lead medium to complex projects and evaluate new requirements, major enhancements to existing environment.
Works with customers to understand and meet requirements within the confines of the team's capabilities. Suggest enhancements to processes and technology where appropriate. Analyzes data from tools in various forms to assist Incident and Problem teams with troubleshooting and investigations.
Job Responsibilities
• Demonstrates basic ITIL concepts and understands the role Job Scheduling and Administration of the platform
• Communicate with customers to understand business applications to schedule their workload, and to educate and encourage use of Self Service for Control-M
• Assist in creating and maintaining scheduling documentation required to support the environment
• Ensure appropriate integration of applications through proper use of scheduling software and understanding the effects of one application on another.
• Responsible for process, standards, governance and performance of the shared structures and technical environments.
• Drive projects with broad scope of deployment, including sector and/or region
• Ready to work and support during off hours
Technical skills
5+ years of knowledge of infrastructure hardware, application environments, and Workload automation/Scheduling application including:-
- ITIL knowledge
- Workload Automation (Control-M) and its modules – AFT/MFT, Oracle OEBS, SAP, Application integrator, Web Services module
- Broad range of application and infrastructure architecture knowledge
- Good understanding Unix, Windows and Mainframe OS
- Good understanding of Shell script and SQL
- Good understanding of Rest API and python scripting.

Preferred qualification and experience
• Four-year degree preferably in computer science
