Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Rhapsody Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support healthcare interfaces using Rhapsody Integration Engine. The role focuses on enabling seamless data exchange between clinical, financial, and operational healthcare systems while ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain healthcare interfaces using Rhapsody.
• Build and support integrations using HL7 (v2.x), FHIR, XML, JSON, and flat files.
• Monitor interface performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve data flow errors in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with clinical, application, and vendor teams to understand integration requirements.
• Perform interface testing, validation, and documentation for new and existing integrations.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and go-live activities related to interface workflows.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications and support guides.
• Provide on-call or production support as required.

Skills & Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine.
• Solid understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2.x, FHIR,



CCD, X12 – as applicable).
• Experience integrating EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, Meditech).
• Knowledge of healthcare workflows (ADT, Orders, Results, Scheduling, Billing).
• Robust troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and clinical teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
• Experience with Rhapsody IDE, filters, routes, translators, and scripting.
• Familiarity with SQL, REST APIs, web services, and message transformation.
• Prior experience in hospital, payer, or health information exchange (HIE) environments.
• Certification or formal training in Rhapsody or healthcare interoperability.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions; define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
