Job Objective
Group Technology enables and empowers the bank with an productive, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Technology, we digitalize majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. This role will manage a large institutional banking technology team in DBS Technology China and will be delivering high-impact projects partnering with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be adept in program and/ or product management and operations, and will be a skilled program and project manager, problem solver, and relationship builder that earns partner and stakeholder trust. The duties of this role can be classified into the following categories: • Responsible with the entire development process • Team effort coordination, dependencies management • Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the program, projects, and project management community and with other stakeholders if necessary • Key decision maker in frameworks and architecture

Principal Responsibilities
• Review activities from time to time and ensure project scheduled and cost is met.




• Lead the technology team on how to implement the business requirements.
• Lead the technology team to deliver business requirement.
• Establish best practices for coding standards and code review process.
• Understand the group’s framework and ensure the delivery is follow the framework.
• Setup cadence and update management on the progress.
• Aligned with group and regional team, conduct the on-site inspection on regular basis to ensure the site service quality meets group’s standard.
• Need play the important role to work with vendor team for project timeline, quality and technical issue etc.
• Work with other teams in DTC together to improve our Tech branding and servicer quality continuously in China.

Education and Relevant Experience
• Degree in Computing / Computer Science / Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of experience, preferably in financial services industry. Experience working in technology solutioning, delivery and management areas.
• Strong experience in employee, workspace and/or Future Ready technologies and solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, banking applications, operations and/or workplace AV/conferencing infrastructure will be an advantage.
• Experience with ETL, data transformation and analytics use cases.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Proven experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work within the department, across the broader T&O; department, with business partners and with vendors.
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels, and both internally and externally. Concise and precise.
