Job Summary
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Platform Specialist responsible for the architecture, development, integration, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform. The role demands deep technical expertise in platform capabilities, scripting, integrations, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Development
• Design and develop scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure core platform components (tables, forms, UI policies, ACLs, workflows, Flow Designer).
• Develop custom applications using App Engine.
• Implement Service Portal / UI Builder customizations.

Scripting & Automation
• Develop and maintain:
• Business Rules
• Script Includes
• Client Scripts
• UI Actions
• Scheduled Jobs
• Build advanced automations using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

Integrations
• Design and implement integrations using:
• REST/SOAP APIs
• MID Server
• IntegrationHub spokes
• OAuth / JWT authentication
• Handle inbound and outbound integrations with third-party systems.

Instance Management
• Support instance upgrades and patching.
• Manage update sets, CI/CD pipelines, and source control.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize configurations.
• Maintain security compliance and data integrity.

Technical Governance




• Enforce development best practices and platform standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship.
• Ensure alignment with ServiceNow architectural guidelines.

Required Skills
Technical Skills
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript (server-side & client-side).
• Hands-on experience with:
• Flow Designer
• IntegrationHub
• Service Portal / UI Builder
• IRM and its Sub Modules
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
• Understanding of platform security (ACLs, roles, data separation).
• Experience in performance tuning and debugging.

Preferred Certifications
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Certified Implementation Specialist (any module)

Experience
• 10+ years overall IT experience.
• 6+ years hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities
1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery
2. To support as an SME
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and deliver risks are mitigated
5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology
6. To review project deliverables.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
