Job Summary
This role is responsible for architecting advanced solutions in standard cell characterization, ensuring product and sustenance delivery meets defined technology standards. The position drives conceptualization, technical design, and hands-on implementation, while mentoring the team and advancing expertise in cutting-edge characterization methodologies to align with organizational and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architect and design STD-Cell characterization methodologies using industry-standard EDA tools, ensuring robust and scalable solutions for product and sustenance delivery.
2. Develop and implement automation flows with tools such as Synopsys SiliconSmart and Cadence Liberate, optimizing characterization accuracy and turnaround time.
3. Guide the team in generating, validating, and analyzing cell libraries through scripting (Python, Tcl) and simulation environments, maintaining compliance with process technology specifications.
4. Mentor and upskill team members on latest STD-Cell characterization techniques, tool usage,
and best practices, fostering technical excellence and delivery readiness.
5. Evaluate and integrate new characterization technologies, workflows, and quality standards to ensure solutions remain current and meet evolving client and market requirements.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical specifications and deliver targeted STD-Cell characterization solutions tailored to client domain needs.
Skill Requirements
1. Expert proficiency in STD-Cell characterization principles, including timing, power, and noise analysis.
2. Excellent knowledge of EDA tools such as Synopsys SiliconSmart, Cadence Liberate, and relevant simulation platforms.
3. Advanced skills in scripting languages (Python, Tcl) for automation and data analysis.
4. Robust understanding of semiconductor process technology and PDK integration.
5. Experience in architecting and optimizing characterization flows for high-complexity solutions.
6. Ability to mentor and technically guide teams in advanced STD-Cell characterization.
Other Requirements
1. Recommended: Synopsys SiliconSmart Certification, Cadence Liberate Characterization Certification (optional but valuable).
